Mastering has been the primary focus of Regulator Sound for over a decade, offering a bespoke service that caters to all styles of music and loudness requirements.
We specialise in crystal clear masters that breathe, avoiding unnecessary harmonic distortion and colouration to ensure that your project is able to maximise its sonic potential; be it modern loud digital masters, or more traditional vinyl-appropriate dynamic masters.
Our monitoring system is made up of Neumann KH310 active monitors and a KH750 DSP subwoofer, with D/A conversion provided by Metric Halo. Our state-of-the-art acoustic treatment was designed & built by Exponential Acoustics.
Our mastering chain is primarily a blend of Universal Audio, Sonnox, Fabfilter, Brainworx, and McDSP processing.

RECORDING & MIXING
We are big believers in recording as much as we can live in the studio, as nothing helps capture the natural essence of a band better than recording them in their natural habitat; playing together.
With 24 channels of high-quality preamp channels running through Universal Audio Apollo processing, there’s not much that can’t be done in this room. We have a broad selection of microphones, including the UAD Sphere, which models 40 different classic microphones, which provides the flexibility to hone in on the exact sounds you’re looking for.
We pride ourselves on providing an efficient yet relaxed recording experience, with the ability to tailor a production plan to suit projects of any scope and budget.
Rates: $60 per hour / $450 per day (8 hours)
