mastering
One of our primary offerings are music mastering services. We specialise in crystal clear loud digital masters that avoid the harmonic distortion that often comes with heavy compression and limiting.
Our monitoring system is made up of Neumann KH310 active monitors and a KH750 DSP subwoofer, with D/A conversion provided by Metric Halo. Our state-of-the-art acoustic treatment was designed & build by Exponential Acoustics.
Our mastering chain is primarily a blend of Universal Audio, Sonnox, Fabfilter and McDSP processing.
Rates: $100 per track (or $100 per five minutes if your songs are long).
RECORDING & MIXING
We are big believers in recording as much as we can live in the studio, as nothing helps capture the natural essence of a band better than recording them in their natural habitat; playing together.
With 24 channels of high-quality preamp channels running through Universal Audio Apollo processing, there’s not much that can’t be done in this room. We have a broad selection of microphones, including the UAD Sphere, which models 40 different classic microphones, which provides the flexibility to hone in on the exact sounds you’re looking for.
We pride ourselves on providing an efficient yet relaxed recording experience, with the ability to tailor a production plan to suit projects of any scope and budget.
Rates: $50 per hour / $400 per day.
